Stuart is a powerful writer, strategic thinker and determined advocate for his clients.
A former veteran newspaper journalist, he spent 15 years as a staff writer for the Los Angeles Times – where he was among a team of reporters awarded a Pulitzer Prize for news reporting – before taking his skills and experience into the field of strategic communications in 2016.

In 2024, Stuart served as Communications Director for the campaign of Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman, who emerged from a record field of 12 candidates to win the nation’s most closely watched district attorney election.
In addition to politics, Stuart has helped clients develop and implement communications plans in crisis communications, civil litigation, regulatory enforcement, criminal prosecutions, reputation management, labor disputes, M&A and bankruptcies.
He co-founded LAG Strategy and serves as its Managing Partner, overseeing client accounts in finance, law, gaming, sports, entertainment and many other industries.

Away from the office, Stuart loves the outdoors, has completed more than 25 triathlons and is a World Series of Poker champion. He and his wife, Monica, live in Pasadena, California.
