Dave is a veteran strategic communications practitioner, advising corporate, nonprofit and individual clients around crisis and reputation management, litigation support, and strategic communications. He has successfully guided hundreds of clients through highly sensitive crises, including industrial accidents, whistleblower retaliation, criminal charges, social media attacks, reductions in force, misconduct allegations, data breaches, product recalls, high-stakes litigation, and regulatory compliance. He has advised clients in energy, agriculture, media, politics, technology, financial services, franchising, education, and aerospace among other industries. He previously served as Senior Vice President and crisis practice lead at Red Banyan, and as Senior Vice President in FTI Consulting’s crisis and corporate practice. He is the Founder and President of EDQ Strategies. Dave teaches graduate and undergraduate public relations courses at USC.
